​According to the authority, the accused promised the victim that he would bring the car and transferred 75,000 104 lari to the bank account he showed.
​“It was determined by the investigation that the accused had promised citizens that he would bring cars from the United States of America to Georgia and in return transferred the amount of 75 104 Lari to his bank account. The detainee has not fulfilled his obligations and has illegally misappropriated the amount transferred.
​A person suspected of committing a crime as a result of action and investigation conducted by law enforcement officers has been detained in Gori.
​The investigation is carried out under Article 180 of the Criminal Code. The article in question imposes a sentence of imprisonment for up to 9 years, ”Mia reported.
